VP Heads to Colombia to Demand Maduro Step Down

The Vice President, Mike Pence, will travel to Columbia on Monday to demand Venezuelan Leader Maduro to step down and allow President Juan Guaidó take power.

The socialist leader, Maduro, has been shorting the food and medicine chain in the country that was once prospering in it once before.

Maduro was sworn in for a second six-year term earlier this year but was revealed as an illegitimate election.

The White House claims to want a peaceful removal of the leader but will use military force if necessary.

The administration announced last month it was imposing new sanctions on Venezuela’s state-owned oil company to try to boost pressure on Maduro.

The leader’s struggle has turned into street demonstrations forcing U.S. diplomats to leave Venezuela.
