On Friday, Sarah Sanders stated The President has spoken to Vladimir Putin for more than an hour on talks of Maduro and Venezuela.
SARAH SANDERS: At a press conference, the press secretary stated the Mueller report and Russia’s involvement in the 2016 elections were topics of discussion. They also pivoted to talking about the crises in Venezuela and Ukraine where both leaders support opposing forces.
THE PRESIDENT: The first thing the leaders spoke about was the Mueller report being over and done with, without finding any collusion or obstruction.
SARAH SANDERS: Sanders stated, “there was no collusion, which I’m pretty sure both leaders were very well aware of long before this call took place.”
THE PRESIDENT: According to Sanders, the President’s priority is to help Venezuela from the Maduro regime.
SARAH SANDERS: Sanders states, “There was a discussion about extending current nuclear agreements as well as discussions about possibly starting a new one that could include China as well.”

Had a long and very good conversation with President Putin of Russia. As I have always said, long before the Witch Hunt started, getting along with Russia, China, and everyone is a good thing, not a bad thing….
