Trump Thinking of Ending Marijuana Federal Ban

President Donald Trump revealed on Friday that he is thinking of ending the Federal ban on Marijuana…

Sen. Cory Gardener is pushing to end the federal ban on Marijuana an effort President Donald Trump believes he can get behind on.

In the past the President has said that he wants the issue of Marijuana to be a state issue, also the President has taken a tough stance on drug pushers and Dealers, as the effort takes effect against Opioids.

The president was asked if he would support the Gardner Bill on Marijuana before departing for the G-7 summit in Canada and said-“I support Sen. Gardner,” he went on to say “I know exactly what he’s doing. We’re looking at it. But I probably will end up supporting that, yes.”

Gardner in the past had criticized the Trump Administration after AG Jeff Sessions reversed the Obama-era policy of not enforcing the federal marijuana ban in states that had voted to legalize the drug for medicinal or recreational use, allowing federal prosecutors in each state to use their own discretion.  Gardner took it even further by threatening to block DOJ nominees from advancing but backed down after the President said he would leave that issues to the states.

  1. I would NOT hire a marijuana user.
In fact, non-use of marijuana would be a condition of employment.
No brain-damaged people on the job!
