Trump Plans Visit and Send off to the Comfort Hospital Ship

President Donald Trump announced at his Press Conference his trip to Norfolk Saturday to the Navy hospital ship Comfort as it sets sail to relieve New York’s overwhelmed hospitals saying ‘I think I’ll go and kiss it goodbye.’

What We Know: 

  • President Trump said Thursday that he planned to ‘kiss’ the USNS Comfort goodbye as the hospital ship deployed to New York City 

  • The White House then announced that the president would indeed be traveling to Norfolk, Virginia on Saturday to see the ship off 

  • Trump boasted that the ship was ready weeks before the Pentagon initially thought it could be, as he touted his response to the coronavirus outbreak
  • The president announced that he would deploy Comfort and the West Coast-anchored Mercy on March 18 

  • The Comfort leaves for New York on Saturday and we will be uploading footage with President Trump on our youtube channel here

  1. That is very nice for our President. Considering that he is so busy with the coronavirous. But what else’s can we say, he is a wonderful President who care for the people and this country. The Lord has blessed us with him as our President. May the Lord BLESS him always. We love Mr. President.
