Top Cop that will Investigate FBI is Special Council without the Name

Attorney General might have declined to assign another Special council this time to investigate…

whether the FBI abused its powers when it sought permission and then carried out wiretapping of top Trump campaign figures and whether the FBI gave special Privilege to Hillary Clinton.

John W. Huber, U.S. attorney from Utah assigned by Attorney General Jeff Sessions as Investigator, can convene a grand jury, issue subpoenas, collect evidence and order witnesses to testify — all the usual powers a federal prosecutor has just without the official title the Democrats gave to Mueller.

Mr. Sessions said the facts of the FBI situation don’t yet rise to the level of demanding a special counsel, but Mr. Huber is as close as can be.

  1. Attorney John W. Huber (Utah) can do all these things, but will he ? ? I’ll believe it when I see it.
