As more information on Aliens, Paranormal, and UFOs comes out and is declassified by the Pentagon. Lawmakers seek answers via not so secrete Briefings and hearing with the Department of Defense.
Members of the Senate Intelligence and armed services committee are actively receiving classified progress reports in a series of data collection on UFOs conducted by the Pentagon and the CIA.
Some lawmakers are not happy with the progress of the briefs as they demand the Department of Defense investigate and gather data on the origins of the unidentified aircraft engaged by troops in recent years.
Lawmakers like Senator Gillibrand wants the Defense Department to take the issue of unidentified aircraft more seriously. According to an anonymous aide she said they had enough time to investigate and implement provisions and find out what and where these unidentifiable aircraft originated.
These secret congressional Briefings come weeks after congress passed the national defense authorization act requiring the Pentagon to create an office to investigate anomaly surveillance.
The office, set to be fully operational by June, was tasked to investigate, assess and uncover any information on UFOs.
The Bill, also signed into law by Joe Biden, requires an annual report and Briefings for congress.
Many Republicans are not happy with the progress and the scope of the briefings –
Senator Marco Rubio says the new office is not moving fast enough, not doing enough on the matter, and not sharing enough with congress.
Another lawmaker that is not happy is Tennessee republican rep. Tim Burchett said in a statement – “I don’t trust the Department of Defense to get this right since leadership there has always been part of a cover-up,” he went on to say, “It is clear from the public evidence that we don’t have full control of our airspace,” he finished off by saying “That’s a national security issue and it’s also unacceptable.”
Mr. Burchett, who comes from the district where Oak Ridge National Laboratory resides, is a location where hundreds of UFO sightings have been reported over the decades.
Rep. Tim Burchett also stated, “I don’t trust the Department of Defense to get this right since leadership has always been part of a cover-up.”
