Russia attempts to intervene in the Talks between Trump and North Korea

China has brought Russia into the mix as talks between Trump and Kim seem to be going in a positive direction…

China on Friday complimented Russia for having a positive role in the process with North Korea.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying said- “China believes that the message sent out by the DPRK and Russia is positive and China welcomes it,” she went on to say “China welcomes the development of bilateral ties and the enhancement of high-level exchanges on the part of the DPRK and Russia. We believe that this is conducive to promoting the political settlement process of Korean Peninsula issue and upholding the peace and stability of the Peninsula and Northeast Asia.”

Reports have come out that Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov had met with Kim Jong-Un on Friday, the same day North Korea’s #2 man was at the White House Handing President Donald Trump a letter from kim.

according to sources in the White House, China and Russia have been vital to peace talks in the Korean Penninsula.

Rep. Ted Yoho, R-Fla., who chairs the Foreign Affairs subcommittee on the Asia-Pacific region said-  “I think Russia has an inferiority complex and they’re looking for legitimacy, relevancy,” he went on to say “I don’t think we’re going to get rolled,” Yoho said. “If we stick to our guns, you will see Russia and China get on the side of world peace versus having these conflicts going on, and I think China and Russia feel a little bit threatened that these talks may go on.”
