Republicans Set to Expose Green New Deal Radicals

On Tuesday, Senator Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, said the Senate will vote on the Green New Deal, an environmental and energy plan endorsed by progressives.

The deal will need 60 votes in the Senate to pass.

Progressive leader, Ocasio-Cortez introduced the climate change resolution as part of an effort to push the U.S. to take a lead role in reducing carbon emissions through the economy to create millions of ”high wage jobs” by striving for net-zero greenhouse gas emissions.

This means cutting off all uses of fossil fuels used in every day life and methane from bovine flatulence also know as cow farts.

McConnell said this to reporters about the deal, “We’re voting on that in the Senate. Give everybody an opportunity to go on record.”
