On Wednesday, President Vladimir Putin of Russia will target the U.S. if it deploys nuclear missiles in Europe.
The Russian President made it lear that Russia will not make the first initiation but warned the U.S. of making certain choices when it comes to short or intermediate missiles to Europe.
Putin said in a conference of Russian political leaders, “It’s their right to think how they want. But can they count? I’m sure they can. Let them count the speed and the range of the weapons systems we are developing.”
He then added, “Russia will be forced to create and deploy types of weapons which can be used not only in respect of those territories from which the direct threat to us originates, but also in respect of those territories where the centers of decision making are located.”
Russia has been on edge ever since The U.S. announced they will no longer be in the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty and accused Russia of not respecting the authority of the agreement for years.
Moscow would be the initial place to start a frenzy with the U.S. if we do place missiles in Europe.
