North Korea Unsure If Nuclear Talks with Trump Should Continue

On Friday, a top official from North Korea, said they are reconsidering to continue negotiations with the U.S. about North Korea’s nuclear weapons program.

CHOE SON HUI: North Korea’s Vice Foreign Minister, Choe Son Hui, blames Mike Pompeo and John Bolton for a distrusting vibe during negotiations at a press conference.

Choe said to reporters, “Pompeo and Bolton created the atmosphere of hostility and mistrust and, therefore, obstructed the constructive effort for negotiations between the supreme leaders of North Korea and the United States…I want to make it clear that the gangster-like stand of the U.S. will eventually put the situation in danger.”

Choe also stated that the issue with Trump’s admin leaves no open wounds on the personal relationships of Kim Jong Un and The President of the United States.

Choe mentioned that further negotiations would now be at The U.S. cost of concessions on sanctions or other issues concerning them.

THE PRESIDENT OF THE U.S.: The President said he was still on good terms with Kim, he stated, “I think it remains good. I would be surprised, in a negative way, if he did anything that was not per our understanding…But we’ll see what happens,” Trump stated.
