Mexican immigration police were attacked by a caravan group who crossed into Guatemala illegally on Monday, the caravan launched rocks to prove they would not comply.
At least 500 people were in that group which is made up of Guatemalans, Hondurans, Salvadorans, Nicaraguans, and Haitians all trying to get into Mexico illegally.
The group forced their way across Mexico and were stopped by 30 INAMI and federal agents, blocking the road for the caravan to pass.
The Mexican authorities tried to talk to the caravan into surrendering but they refused. This is when the group became violent and threw rocks at the Mexican officials forcing them to abort the scene.
The Caravan successfully forced their way into Mexico and immigration officials offered them food, shelter, water in return for them to go back to their country.
The caravan refused that offer too but cleared from Mexico as they were not trying to stay there for long.
