Jeff Sessions not ready to admit recusal from Cohen Case

Attorney General Jeff Sessions sat on the hot seat on Wednesday in front of the Senate Appropriations subcommittee hearing…

AG Sessions declined to if he will, in fact, recuse himself from the Michale Cohen probe.

Sessions said that it is Justice Department policy to not discuss details about an ongoing case.

He said “It is the policy of the department, if you get into discussing the details of those matters, you can reveal the scope or breadth or nature of a matter that would be inappropriate,” Sessions noted that all recusals are internally binding and almost never revealed to the public.
