Jack to Testify at House Panel on Censoring Conservatives

Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey will testify before the House Energy and Commerce Committee next month as Republican lawmakers claim that they’re victims of censorship on social media.

Rep. Greg Walden, the chairman of the panel said “Twitter is an incredibly powerful platform that can change the national conversation in the time it takes a tweet to go viral,” he went on to say “When decisions about data and content are made using opaque processes, the American people are right to raise concerns.”

House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy leader said “Over the past several months, I have seen more and more examples of censorship that impact public officials and concerned citizens expressing conservative thought,” he went on to say “After several conversations with Mr. Dorsey and the Chairman, we all agree that transparency is the only way to fully restore Americans’ trust in these important public platforms.”
