On Tuesday, the House failed to override the President’s veto with a 248-181 vote which fell 42 votes short.
DEMOCRATS: Dems led an override vote of the President’s veto and had to get a two-thirds vote in order to override it which would have been a 290 vote but only failed to get 42 more votes.
Even though, the Democrats led this vote, Republicans still voted with them.
REPUBLICANS: 14 Republicans voted yes to override the Republican President’s veto but still was not enough and would have never amounted to the 290 vote they needed.
The Republicans who voted with Democrats are the following, Elise Stefanik, Francis Rooney, Dusty Johnson, Thomas Massie, Justin Amash, Fred Upton, Jaime Herrera Beutler, Cathy McMorris Rodgers, Jim Sensenbrenner, Greg Walden, Mike Gallagher, Will Hurd, John Katko, and Fitzpatrick.

CONCLUSION: Democrats are widely upset with the turn out even though they knew what the outcome might have been, 14 Republicans voted with the Dems and The President is going to continue building his wall with military funding.
