On Monday, during a CNN town hall event, Bernie Sanders was asked if convicted criminals like rapists, bombers, and murderers to be able to vote in elections.
BERNIE SANDERS: During a CNN Town Hall event, Sanders admitted he believes convicted criminals of any crime should be allowed to vote since they are “paying their price to society in jail.”
The kooky presidential nominee says he believes jail and prison time is enough for the kind of crime you committed.
Sanders stated, “But, I believe even if they are in jail, they’re paying the price to society, but that should not take away their inherent American right to participate in our democracy.”

CONCLUSION: Bernie Sanders believes convicted felons, no matter of what convicted crime, should have the right to vote because they are still paying the price to society by being in jail or prison.
