On Tuesday evening, Attorney General William Barr has formed a team to review actions of the FBI and the DOJ after he finished testifying before the Senate.
AG WILLIAM BARR: The AG had testified before a House Appropriations subcommittee hours before forming his counter-intelligence investigation on both the FBI and DOJ.
AG WILLIAM BARR: The AG stated, “I am reviewing the conduct of the investigation and trying to get my arms around all the aspects of the counterintelligence investigation that was conducted during the summer of 2016,” during his testimony on Tuesday.
AG WILLIAM BARR: The Attorney General is upholding a separate investigation and he says he expects the full review completed by May or June.
CONCLUSION: The Attorney General of the USA, William Barr, has formed a team to review actions of both the FBI and the DOJ. Barr will issue a probe to look into what each were doing during the 2016 Presidency and campaign.
