Arsonist sets Fox News’ Christmas tree on fire in Midtown Manhattan

• A large Christmas Tree was set ablaze outside the headquarters of Fox News in New York at 1 am on Wednesday

• The 50-foot tree was on six avenue

• The cops said the suspect claimed up to the metal structure of the tree, lit the kindling he brought with him, and shoved it into the main structure of the Tree.

• He was spotted by building security who pointed him out at nearby Rockefeller center

• The suspect was identified as 49-year-old Craig Tamanaha who is a known homeless man from Brooklyn

• When arrested a lighter was found in his pocket

• The suspect has a lengthy rap sheet including drug possession and public intoxication.

• Tamanaha has been charged with arson, criminal mischief, reckless endangerment, criminal trespass and tempering, and disorderly conduct

• Due to New York’s broken criminal system he will walk just 24 hours later.

• Fox News vows that they would rebuild the Christmas Tree!
