AOC Dropped From PAC Over Legal Uncertainty

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has been quietly dropped from PAC over legal uncertainty of her involvement with PAC during her candidacy.

AOC: Ocasio-Cortez has been booted out of PAC or Political Action Committee as a co-manager for her alleged legal affairs during her candidacy.

HANS VON SPAKOVSKY: “If the facts as alleged are true, and a candidate had control over a PAC that was working to get that candidate elected, then that candidate is potentially in very big trouble and may have engaged in multiple violations of federal campaign finance law, including receiving excessive contributions,” former Republican FEC Commissioner told the outlet.

SAIKAT CHAKRABARTI: Founded the Justice Democrats PAC was removed as governor on March 15th.

The groups, PAC and Brand New Congress, funneled over $1 million into companies controlled by Chakrabarti between 2016 and 2017.

THE NATIONAL LEGAL AND POLICY CENTER: They filed a complaint to with the Federal Election Commission requesting an investigation into this unusual arrangement.

CONCLUSION: Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has been under fire after she was dropped as a co-manager for the Justice Democrat’s PAC for her involvement with PAC during her candidacy. PAC allegedly supported her congressional bid making her election easier. She was also denied a position as governor for the Justice Department for her involvement with PAC. The founder of PAC was also removed as governor last week and funneled money into her own companies almost 4 years ago.
